Staff received a request from Ashley Thomas, Public Information Officer for the Hernando County Health Department, for a resolution proclaiming August 2023 as Breastfeeding Awareness Month in Hernando County. The attached resolution encourages citizens to promote public awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding for both infants and mothers.
