BRIEF OVERVIEW
On April 14, 2020, the Board approved award of Contract No. 20-P00099/TPR to DesignLab, Inc., for an estimated annual spend amount of $115,000.00 and authorized the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to approve change orders up to the department’s budget.
Purchase Order Number 23000077 was originally issued for $115,000.00.
Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $71,840.00 was approved by the CPO on March 13, 2023. The funds were sufficient and available in the budget.
Change Order No. 2, in the amount of $900.00 was approved by the CPO on May 16, 2023. The funds were sufficient and available in the budget.
Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $300.00 was approved by the CPO on June 29, 2023. The funds were sufficient and available in the budget.
Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $35,006.00 would increase the purchase order to $223,046.00 which is above the current budgeted amount of $188,040.00.
Hernando County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services has requested an increase to cover purchases through Fiscal Year 2023 for Purchase Order No. 23000077 for uniforms and related items.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $35,006.00 to Purchase Order No. 23000077 bringing the total purchase order amount to $223,046.00.
