Discussion Regarding Hernando County Strategic Planning

BRIEF OVERVIEW
On September 09, 2024, Hernando County Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with the University of South Florida to facilitate the development of a Strategic Plan for Hernando County (Item #14426).
Phase I of this three-phase planning process began on October 28, 2024, with a meeting attended by Hernando County’s Senior Leadership Team. This meeting is the second scheduled meeting in Phase I of this process. During the November 21, 2024, meeting, the USF team in partnership with SPC Collaborative Labs will facilitate an engagement with County leadership to share the action steps for the strategic planning process, discuss Commission member expectations and participation as well as review the relevant requirements of the Sunshine Law.
