BRIEF OVERVIEW
The attached budget resolution is to recognize the State Aid to Libraries Grant funding from the State of Florida (Grant # 37032 / GMS # 509) in the amount of $587,532 received as part of the State Aid to the Libraries Grant Program for the operation and maintenance of countywide library services.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The funds received will increase the General Fund by $587,532 in Grant # 37032 / GMS # 509 for the Library Services Department for fiscal year 2024.

The Board has the authority to act upon this matter pursuant to Section 129.06, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution recognizing the State Aid to Libraries Grant funding.
