Amendment for Extension of Public Transportation Grant Agreement With State Department of Transportation for Technology Drive Gate and Fence Project Located at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The previously approved Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant for the Technology Drive Gate and Fence project is to expire on June 30, 2024. The Airport is requesting a grant time extension to December 30, 2024.
Due to numerous project revisions and supply issues, this project is awaiting the final component of the project to be ordered and installed. The Airport expects another four to five months before the project is completed and the vendor is paid.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the Airport.

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the FDOT Amendment for Extension of Grant Agreement FM 450402-1-94-01 Contract G2440 for the Technology Drive Gate and Fence project. In addition, it is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on all related documents for forwarding to the Florida Department of Transportation.
