Ratification of Emergency Purchase Order to Tetra Tech, Inc., for Substantial Damage Technical Assistance Services Due to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton for Developmental Services Department

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Developmental Services Department requested an emergency purchase order on November 26, 2024, due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton causing extensive damage throughout Hernando County. Substantial Damage Technical Assistance Services were urgently needed under the Disaster Recovery Reform Act (DRRA) Section 1206 to facilitate mitigation, emergency repairs, and protective measures to prevent further damage.
The Procurement Department issued Purchase Order No. 25000372 in the amount of $2,021,774.40 on November 26, 2024, to Tetra Tech, Inc., due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton causing extensive damage, throughout Hernando County. The Procurement Department is bringing the purchase order to the Board for ratification.
The work has been completed and the final cost was $196,636.03.
Change Order One (1) was a no-cost change order to correct the notes on the purchase order.
Change Order Two (2) was a no-cost administrative change to revise the purchase order date to remain open through March 11, 2025.
Change Order Three (3) was processed to decrease the purchase order amount to reflect the actual purchase order amount and to pay/close this emergency purchase order.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Invoice has been processed in the amount of $196,636.03. This expenditure is eligible for FEMA reimbursement.
