BRIEF OVERVIEW
On June 23, 2026, Hernando County Solid Waste Department submitted a request to the Procurement Department to piggyback Bulk Solid Waste and Recycling Equipment Sourcewell (Contract No. 010825-BXG; Hernando County File No. 26-0269G) with Box Gang Manufacturing, LLC for Solid Waste Roll-Off Containers. The contract expiration date is May 19, 2029.
The Contract provides for three (3) additional one (1) year renewal periods.
Box Gang Manufacturing LLC provides standard bid pricing for 20-, 30-, and 40-yard dumpsters allowing options for customization to fit the user’s needs. This purchase consists of ten (10) 20-yard roll-off dumpsters optimized for recycling and ten (10) 40-yard roll off dumpsters optimized to heavy duty 55-yard roll off dumpsters.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.

It is recommended the Board approve the utilization of Sourcewell (Contract # 010825-BXG Hernando County File No. 26-P0269G) with Box Gang Manufacturing, LLC for Solid Waste Roll-Off Containers; in the amount of $307,500.00.
