BRIEF OVERVIEW
On October 4, 2023, the Procurement Department issued a Request for Proposals (RFP No. 23-RFP00361/TPR) for professional services related to Emergency Medical Service Medical Director Services.
The solicitation was sent to two thousand six hundred eighty-three (2,683) vendors. Seventeen potential bidders downloaded the solicitation.
Two (2) proposals were received on the opening date of November 6, 2023, from the following firms:
* SOS Care Solutions, Tampa, Florida
* US, Prehospital Medical Consultants, LLC, Largo, Florida
A Peer Review Committee (PRC) met on December 12, 2023, to evaluate the proposal comprised of Battalion Chief Chad Coates, Gary Emerson, Quality Assurance Officer, Captain Sean Moulton, and Division Chief Kristian Sloane. Contract 23-RFP00361/TPR has an initial three (3) year value of $209,850.
The PRC consensus evaluation resulted in the following score:
* SOS Care Solutions, LLC Total 98.8 out of max. 100 points
* US, Prehospital Medical Consultants, LLC Total 76.3 out of max. 100 points

Funds are available in Account No. 1691-02491-5303115 Professional Medical Director.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson's signature on the attached Medical Director Services Contract No. RFP No. 23-RFP00361/TPR for the award of SOS Care Solutions, LLC for professional services with an initial term of three (3) years with two (2) twelve (12) month renewals and authorize the CPO to approve the renewals with no changes to the contract amount.
