BRIEF OVERVIEW
Attached please find letter from Florida Department of Children and Families, Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, recognizing the Hernando County Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Network as one of the top 10 Preforming Networks in Florida out of the first 30 counties eligible for performance review.
Hernando County CORE Network, consisting of collaborative efforts of Hernando County Community Paramedicine, BayCare Behavioral HealthCare, and community partners, has proven vital in establishing a system of care focused on connecting individuals to treatment, support, and long-term stability. Hernando County and LSF Health System continues to support the Hernando Community Paramedicine Program and the CORE Network through funding from Hernando County Opioid Settlement Abatement funds.
