Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement With Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration for Taxiway A1 and D Improvements Project at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and Associated Budget Resolution
body
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Taxiways D and A1 were constructed in 1964 and are showing signs of increasing deterioration. Additionally, the recent decoupling of Runway 3/21 Capital Improvement Project (CIP) altered the taxiing pattern of aircraft which now directs aircraft to Taxiway A1. The pavement needs to be rehabilitated to accommodate the additional traffic.
Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport has been awarded $646,999.00 of the allocated Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) eligible federal share of project cost from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the Taxiway D and A1 Improvement Project. Additional grant funding from the Florida Department of Transportation is also expected.
