Approval to Utilize St. Johns County School District Contract for Purchase of Playground Equipment

BRIEF OVERVIEW
On January 11, 2022, the Board approved Piggyback of St. Johns County School Board Contract 2018-04 for playground equipment, surfacing, shade structure and installation, Doc. Id. 19206.
St. Johns County School Board has solicited a new contract and the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting Piggyback use approval of the new contract for playground equipment, surfacing, shade structure and installation for the term of July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.
This Contract would be used for future playground equipment needs, as future budgets allow. All projects over $35,000 will be brought to the Board for approval.
Purchasing has assigned Piggyback Contract 22-PC0148/DK for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures

As future budget allows.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve utilizing St. John’s County School Board Contract No. 2022-16, for playground equipment, surfacing, shade structure and installation for future playground equipment purchases.
