BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Florida Job Growth Infrastructure Grant Agreement between Hernando County and Commerce is a cost reimbursement grant in the amount of $6,159,600.00. The grant agreement provides for the cost of infrastructure improvements to support construction of the Dr. Dennis Wilfong Center for Success government and education center at the Brooksville-Tama Bay Regional Airport. The associated development and infrastructure improvements are to be completed by June 30, 2024.
This no-cost time extension amendment extending the completion date to on or before June 30, 2025, the Effective Date (the “Completion Date”) unless terminated earlier.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached Amendment No. One to the Florida Job Growth Infrastructure Grant Agreement with the Florida Department of Commerce for the no-cost time extension to support the construction of the Dr. Dennis Wilfong Center for Success government and education center at the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport.
