Budget Resolution Transferring Grant Funds for Grant Agreement With State Department of Environmental Protection for Elgin Boulevard Force Main Project

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Elgin Boulevard Force Main Grant agreement with Department of Environmental Protection is scheduled for approval at the October 11, 2022 Board Meeting, Doc ID No. 10968 (Originally scheduled for September 27, 2022.) The budget resolution was not processed at that time due to the FY22 closeout. A budget resolution is needed at this time to set up the grant. Procurement of construction will be complete by the end of FY 2023.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The attached budget resolution will set up federal grant funding totaling $1,030,000.00 for the Elgin Boulevard Force Main Project. Hernando County Utilities Department match will be $1,030,000.00. See attached budget resolution for account information.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution for the Elgin Boulevard Force Main Project.
