BRIEF OVERVIEW

On March 11, 2025, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 25-SS0205/JC to Centrifuge-Systems, LLC a/k/a Centrisys for the Centrifuge Equipment Lease for $63,500.00.

 

The purchase order was originally issued for $63,500.00. Change order No. 2 in the amount of $150,000.00, would increase the Purchase Order to $228,500.00.

 

Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $15,000.00 was CPO approved on May 20, 2025, for additional funds to increase Purchase Order to allow for 90-day lease.

 

Hernando County Utilities Department has requested an increase for Purchase Order No. 25000616 for an additional 5-month rental of equipment to allow for Centrifuge #1 to be repaired. This request is contingent upon Board Approval of Item #16346, Centrifuge #1 repair.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding is available in Fiscal Year 2026:

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $150,000.00 to Centrisys Corporation for Purchase Order No. 25000616, bringing the total Purchase Order amount to $228,500.00.
