On September 11, 2023, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend the Board of County Commissioners postpone the petitioners request for an Expansion of a Public Service Facility Overlay District (PSFOD) in order to readvertise the request for deviations.

LEGAL NOTE
The Planning and Zoning Commission has jurisdiction to make a recommendation on the subject application. The Applicable Criteria for a Zoning District Amendment are contained in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VI. The applicable Public Service Facility (PSF) Overlay District Standards are contained in Article IV, Section 11. The Zoning District Amendment must be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend the Board of County Commissioners adopt a resolution approving the petitioner’s request for an Expansion of a Public Service Facility Overlay District (PSFOD) with Deviations and with performance conditions.
