BRIEF OVERVIEW

On August 8, 2023, the Board approved funding to begin a conceptual plan and analysis of the Mariner Boulevard Median Improvement project. However, due to processing delays the project was not encumbered prior to the August 25^th requisition deadline to encumber the funding in FY 2023 and requires rebudgeting in FY 2024.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding for the Mariner Boulevard Median Improvement project is available in following account with approval of the attached budget amendment for $87,000 from 1015-03221-5616310-112060 County Fuel Tax, Improvements-Traffic Improvement.

LEGAL NOTE

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve the budget amendment realigning funds from reserves to proceed with the Mariner Boulevard Median Improvement project conceptual plan and analysis.
