BRIEF OVERVIEW

The Playground Equipment at Ridge Manor Park was awarded by the Board on January 11, 2022, Doc. Id. No. 19206 to Top Line Recreation, Inc., in the amount of $156,671.35.

 

Change Order No. One (1) was a no-cost time extension of sixty-two (62) days for a completion date of August 31, 2022.

 

Change Order No. Two (2) was to convert the purchase order to an inverted purchase order so progress payments could be made and an addition of 6”x8” concrete curbing increasing the Contract by $9,846.15 from $156,671.35 to $166,517.50.

 

Change Order No. Three (3) was cancelled.

 

Change Order No. Four (4) was a no-cost time extension of thirty (30) days for a completion date of September 30, 2022.

 

Change Order No. Five (5) was to reduce the curbing to ribbon curbing reducing the Contract by $2,692.30 from $166,517.50 to $163,825.20.

 

The Final Contract amount is $163,825.20 (PO No. 22000551).

 

The work has been completed and Top Line Recreation, Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Two (2) in the amount of $30,654.55.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $30,654.55 is available in Account 04441-5606377 Parks and Recreation, Improv-Parks & Recreation.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve final pay request No. Two (2) in the amount of $30,654.55 to Top Line Recreation, Inc., to close out Contract No. 22-PC0051/DK for the purchase of playground equipment at Ridge Manor Park.

 

The final Contract amount for this unit is $163,825.20, a Contract increase of $7,153.85 over BOCC award.
