Budget Resolution Recognizing Donation From Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce for World War II Gunnery Backstop Memorial at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, through their non-profit CETA, collected donations for the World War II Gunnery Backstop Memorial. These funds are now being donated to the County to begin work on the WWII Memorial. The Chamber will continue to partner with the County, collecting donations until the project has reached completion.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $72,017 will be received in Economic Development Account No. 0011-01771-3660001 Donations/Inkind Srvcs and will be expensed out of Account No. 0011-01771-5606301 - Improv (Grtr than $50,000).
LEGAL NOTE
The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached budget resolution.
