BRIEF OVERVIEW

This request will amend Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) Grant #32403, Grant Agreement S22-23-01-34, between the State of Florida Department of Management Services and the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners. This grant was initially awarded and signed by the Board in March 2023 as a 2-year project to upgrade the routing functions and increase redundancy to the 911 system, in accordance with Next Generation 911 and National Emergency Number Association (NENA) i3 Standard. The first amendment was presented and approved by the BOCC on January 28, 2025, to extend the agreement to March 24, 2026.
