BRIEF OVERVIEW
A Pre-Application for the Perimeter Fencing Improvements was approved by the Board on 10/14/2025 Doc ID 16423. This item also authorized the County Administrator’s signature on any future grant documents related to this project.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant application has been signed by the County Administrator and now requires a ratification.
The project will include closing a gap in the airfield perimeter fence with new chain-link fence, installing new gates, and associated clearing, grubbing and grading. The new fence will be 10-foot tall plus three strands of barbed wire and a 4-foot buried skirt.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board ratify the County Administrator’s signature and the submittal of the attached FAA grant application and further authorize the County Administrator’s signature on any future related documents for this grant which will be subsequently presented for Board approval.
