BRIEF OVERVIEW
Construction Drawings for Springside Grove were initially approved on August 24, 2022. This approval required construction to commence by August 24, 2023, and be completed by February 24, 2024.
The applicant submitted a written request to the Planning Division on July 14, 2023, requesting an extension of these deadlines to August 24, 2024, and February 24, 2025, respectively.
Section 26-21(d)(2) of the Hernando County Land Development Regulations allows for the developer to request one time extension for construction drawing for a period not to exceed 18 months.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached letter to Coastal Engineering Associates, Inc., approving a time extension request for the Springside Grove construction drawings.
