BRIEF OVERVIEW
At the October 25, 2022, Board of County Commissioners meeting, Commissioner John Allocco requested the creation of a resolution proclaiming CareerSource Pasco Hernando maintain Geographical Areas of Hernando and Pasco Counties and does not support a consolidation effort through realignment whereby Hernando County would be absorbed into a larger geographical area. The Board requests CareerSource Florida, the Department of Economic Opportunity, and the State of Florida to continue allowing CareerSource Pasco Hernando (Region 16) to operate in its current makeup of only Pasco and Hernando Counties.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board adopt the attached resolution proclaiming CareerSource Pasco Hernando Maintain Geographical Areas of Hernando and Pasco Counties and does not support a consolidation effort through realignment whereby Hernando County would be absorbed into a larger geographical area.
