BRIEF OVERVIEW
One vacancy exists on the Library Advisory Committee due to the resignation of Angeline Williams-Philanders, who served as an alternate member of the committee, effective January 5, 2026.
A news release was issued accepting applications from individuals interested in serving as a member on the Library Advisory Committee. As a result of the news release, three applications were received from Joannah Holt, Louis Johns, and Gary Sechen. The applicants have been verified as being residents and registered voters in Hernando County.

It is recommended that the Board review the following applicants and appoint an alternate member to the Library Advisory Committee, effective until December 31, 2030.
