BRIEF OVERVIEW
One vacancy exists on the Planning and Zoning Commission due to the resignation of Justin Noe as a regular member, effective September 3, 2026.
A total of three applications were received for the Planning and Zoning Commission:
1. Xenia Pino
2. Alex Santillan
3. Richard Sanvenero
Members to the Planning and Zoning Commission are appointed under Board Policy 06-01 which prescribes individuals shall be appointed by Commission District, qualification, and expertise. Regular members are selected by each individual County Commissioner.
The applications received are provided as attachments to the agenda item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
No financial impact, a matter of policy.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Board Policy 06-01 and Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board review the applications and appoint a regular member to the Planning and Zoning Commission, effective until December 31, 2028.
1. The recommendation for the appointment of District 3, will be made by Commissioner Allocco in accordance with Policy 06-01.
