BRIEF OVERVIEW

On June 27, 2023, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 23-P00098 to Polydyne Inc., for $688,000.00 with an estimated annual spend of $157,000.00 and authorized the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to approve change orders up to annual budgeted amounts.

 

Purchase Order No. 24000089 was originally issued for $157,000.00.

 

Change Order No. 1 was requested to increase the purchase order in the amount of $50,000.00 to cover outstanding invoices and estimated invoices for this Fiscal Year.  The purchase order increased from $157,000.00 to $207,000.00.

 

Hernando County Utilities Department has requested Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $37,239.90 to cover outstanding invoices. Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $37,239.90, would increase the purchase order to $244,239.90.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding, in the amount of $37,239.90, is available in Hernando County Utilities Department:

The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances, and Chapter 125, Fla. Statute.

 

recommendation

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $37,239.90 for Purchase Order No. 24000089 bringing the total purchase order amount to $244,239.90. 

 

It is further recommended that Board increase the annual allowable spend to $260,000.00 and authorize the CPO to approve change orders up to budgeted amounts.
