Discussion Regarding Residential Building Permit Exemptions

BRIEF OVERVIEW
A list of proposed permit exemptions for low-risk homeowner projects is presented for consideration. These additional exemptions would maintain compliance with the Florida Building Code, floodplain regulations, and life/safety requirements. The additional exemptions would not apply to commercial buildings, commercial properties, or properties located within a Special Flood Hazard area (flood zone).
