BRIEF OVERVIEW
On May 1, 2024, Hernando County Utilities Department submitted a request to the Procurement Department to piggyback Sourcewell Contract No. 012524-ABN, to provide modeling of customer service lines to determine the presence of any lead content with a contract expiration of April 2, 2028, and three (3) one (1) year renewal periods remaining.
Hernando County Utilities Department currently has no contracts for modeling of customer service lines to perform a lead service line inventory and requests piggyback approval with Abernethy Schwartz Partners, LLC d/b/a BlueConduit, for a one-time use in the estimated spend amount of $90,000.00.
Hernando County Procurement Department has assigned File No. 24-P0120R to this Contract for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding is budgeted in FY24 in Hernando County Utilities Department - Fund: 4111 - Hernando County Utilities, Department: 07096 - HCUD Engineering, Account: 5303101 - Professional Services in the amount of $90,000.00.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve the utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 012524-ABN (Hernando County File No. 24-P0120R) with Abernethy Schwartz Partners, LLC d/b/a BlueConduit, for a one-time purchase, in the estimated spend amount of $90,000.00.
