BRIEF OVERVIEW
On December 18, 2018, the Board approved the application to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for the amount up to $400,000 per year in SAMHSA Program funding for up to 5 years.

This is a competitive national grant awarded to Court Administration with the assistance of the Grants Compliance Team, 1 of only 43 recipients, for five-years (based on availability of funds and satisfactory progress of project) that will allow expansion and enhancement of treatment services for many of our problem-solving courts (Drug Courts, Veterans Treatment Court, Mental Health Court). This funding opportunity will cover treatment provided by BayCare and additional expenses related to expansion needs.

Acceptance of this award includes acknowledgment of the "FY 2019 Terms and Conditions."

The Board's approval is needed to accept award no. 5H79TI081928-05 in the amount of $397,268 to be allocated to the Hernando County Court Administration Drug Court Program. There is no match requirement.
