Non-Federal Reimbursable Agreement With Federal Aviation Administration for Precision Approach Path Indicator Flight Inspection of Runway 3-21 at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Due to Taxiway A Reconstruction, Schedule D, which relocated the Precision Approach Path Indicator’s (PAPI’s), a flight check is needed. The flight check will certify the approach and equipment. The procedure can only be performed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) utilizing specialized federally owned aircraft that contain an array of sensors and equipment for the certification.
Airport staff respectfully requests the approval of the non-federal reimbursement agreement between the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration and Hernando County.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The estimated cost of the Flight Check is $8,368.92 and will be funded by Account No. 4311-34288-566537 AP-Rnwy/Txwy Decouple Con.
LEGAL NOTE
Reviewed and approved for form and sufficiency by the County Attorney’s Office. The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Non-Federal Reimbursement Agreement No. AJF-ON-AAC-22-AC-005364 between the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration and Hernando County.
