BRIEF OVERVIEW
Weeki Wachee Storage Center, LLC (developer) plans to develop a 60,000 square foot self-storage facility and connect to the County's public water system. The Utilities Department has negotiated an agreement with the developer to pay up to $52,078 toward the upsizing of the water transmission line from 6” to 12” to be built by the developer. The oversizing of the water main will provide necessary redundancy for the existing water system and allow for future water services in the area.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
No financial impact at this time. Upon completion of project, funds to pay the Developer are available in Account No. 4121-07201-5626302.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has legal authority to review and approve this item per Florida Statute, Chapter 125.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Utility Oversizing Agreement for the Weeki Wachee Storage Center Potable Water Main.
