BRIEF OVERVIEW
Final Close-Out of Contract with Deeb Construction & Development Co. for Weeki Wachee Woodlands WM Interconnect project awarded by the Board on November 19, 2024, Doc Id. No. 14420, to Deeb Construction & Development Co. in the amount of $156,684.30.
Change Order One (1) decreased the contract $21,530.87 due to no gopher tortoises located in project area and increased it by $1,609.88 for updating plans to match what was found in the field was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) on April 2, 2025, for an aggregate change of -$19,920.99. The Purchase order was decreased from $156,684.30 to $136,763.31.
Change Order Two (2) was CPO approved on April 3, 2025, for an administrative change to correct an error when entering Change Order #1. The Purchase Order amount was not affected and remained $136,763.31.
The Final Contract amount is $136,763.31 (PO No. 25000494).
The work has been completed and Deeb Construction & Development Co. has submitted its Final Pay Application No. One (1) in the amount of $136,763.31.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $136,763.31 is available in the following account:
Fund: 4121 - HCUD Renewal and Replcmnt, Department: 07201 - Renewal and Replacement, Account: 5626302 - Improv-water line upgrade, No Retainage for this project.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances. No notices of lien or claims of lien have been filed on the project.
