BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded over $800 Million in Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding as a result of Hurricane Ian, with Hernando County being allocated $1,800,482.61.

Hernando County applied for $2,287,500 in HMGP Federal Assistance for this project with the County contributing $746,500 in Cash Match from Municipal Service Taxing Unit (MSTU) funds and $16,000 in In-Kind services.
