BRIEF OVERVIEW
In 2019, the Building Division entered into a Contract with SJUR Solutions, Inc., to implement a pilot program utilizing Video Inspection Pro Software Solution. This is an all-inclusive web-based application used by the contractor to perform on-site video inspections. This software allows for the inspections to be performed remotely in real-time which eliminates the need for the inspector to go to the job site. This was a two (2) year pilot program in which the Building Division has been testing the efficiency and viability of the program.
Contract No. 20-PS0011 was approved by the Board on December 10, 2019. The program was anticipated to be a slow process. However, due to Building Department personnel shortages, utilization of the program has exceeded the department's expectations.
Due to the success of the program, the Building Division is requesting continuation of the services provided by SJUR Solutions, Inc., for an additional year. A new agreement has been created to allow for the program to be continued. SJUR Solutions, Inc., is the only known firm sanctioned by the State of Florida for the process of performing visual inspections.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding is available in Account No. 4611-07811-5303401 Contract Services in the annual estimated amount of $200,000.00.
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to take the recommended action pursuant to Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman's signature on the attached Professional Services Agreement for Sole Source Contract No. 23-PS0032 with SJUR Solutions, Inc., utilizing only current operational budgets to cover the cost of future inspections to be performed.
