BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 9, 2024, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 24-RFQG00712 to Mohsen Design Group, Inc., for Design and Construction Engineering Services for Runway 3-21 and Abandoned Runway Conversion Project for $1,106,869.00.
The purchase order was originally issued for $1,106,869.00. Change order No. 3 in the amount of $278,961.00 would increase the purchase order to $1,385,830.00.
Change Order No. 1 was a no-cost change to extend the project 200 days and was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) on November 20, 2025.
Change Order No. 2 was a no-cost change to extend the project 540 days and was approved by the CPO on February 2, 2026.
Hernando County Airport Department has requested an increase for Purchase Order No. 24001002 to increase the project scope and additional fees.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $278,961.00 is being requested with the attached budget transfer.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $278,961.00 to Mohsen Design Group, Inc., to Purchase Order No. 24001002, bringing the total purchase order amount to $1,385,830.00.
It is further recommended that the Board approve the attached budget transfer included with this request.
