Review of Whole Cent Sales Surtax Referendum and Request for Direction on Capital Projects

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Board of County Commissioners placed a referendum question on the November 5, 2024, General Election. The sales surtax was to provide alternative funding for capital projects. Staff will review the work done on the sales tax referendum, the results and discuss future direction on the four areas of capital investment (Transportation, Public Safety, Law Enforcement and Economic Development).
