BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Dirt Excavation for Landfill Cell No. 4 Project was awarded by the Board on May 24, 2022, Doc Id. No. 19733, to B.R.W. Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $6,987,500.00.
Change Order One (1) was a no-cost 90-day time extension due to weather and site conditions. The purchase order amount remained at $6,987,500.00.
Change Order Two (2) was a no-cost change of the Fund No. 4461 to No. 4421 and the Department No. 07681 to No. 07701. The purchase order amount remained at $6,987,500.00.
The Final Contract amount is $6,987,500.00 (PO No. 22000874).
The work has been completed and B.R.W. Contracting, Inc., has submitted its Final Pay Application No. Seventeen (17) in the amount of $349,375.00.
All releases properly include Hernando County. B.R.W. Contracting, Inc., has signed a release of lien. All notices of lien or claims of lien have been released on the project
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $349,375.00 is available in the following accounts: Account No. 4461-2050157 (Retainage - B.R.W. Contracting, Inc.) in the amount of $323,180.59 and Account No. 4421-205127 (Retainage - B.R.W. Contracting, Inc.) in the amount of $26,194.41.

The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve final pay Request No. Seventeen (17) in the amount of $349,375.00 to B.R.W. Contracting, Inc., to close out dirt excavation for Landfill Cell No. 4 Project under Contract No. 22-C00025/DK.
The final Contract amount is $6,987,500.00. There was no amount change from BOCC award.
