BRIEF OVERVIEW
On September 26, 2023, the Board approved Contract No. 23-T00040/AP for Pre-Qualification for Construction Services under $500,000.00, pre-qualifying firms under four categories, A-Category A Public Works, B-Waterways, C- Utilities and D- Facilities, to provide quotes for County projects on an as-needed basis.
On February 18, 2026, the Hernando County Facilities Department issued a Request for Quotes (Contract No. 23-T00040/AP Quote 49) for the Eastside Library Gutter and Soffit Replacement.
The Request for Quote was sent to eight pre-qualified firms for Category D-Facilities:
1. Archis, Inc., d/b/a Archis Technologies
2. Cross Environmental Services, Inc.
3. Deeb Construction & Development CO
4. MVH Construction, LLC
5. Nicholas & Associates
6. Steve Culp dba Property Services GC
7. Seggie Custom Builders, LLC
BIDs RECEIVED:
One (1) reply to the Request for Quote was received by the Quote due date of March 10, 2026, from the following firm:
1. Seggie Custom Builders LLC $101,159.06*
Hernando County Facilities Department reviewed for price, conformance to specifications and the Bidder's ability to perform the contract in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications required and is recommending award of quote to Seggie Custom Builders, LLC. Notice of Intent to Award was posted on March 17, 2026, and no response was received.
