BRIEF OVERVIEW

On July 9, 2024, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 24-RFQG00543 to McKim & Creed, Inc., for Continuing Engineering Services for Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Projects.

 

On July 23, 2025, Task Order No. 11 was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer in the amount of $487,349.00.

 

The purchase order was originally issued for $487,349.00.  Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $481,908.00, would increase the purchase order to $969,257.00.

 

Hernando County Utilities Department has requested an increase to Purchase Order No. 25000849 for additional Utilities Locator services.  This will be reimbursed 100% to the County by Tillman FiberCo Florida, LLC.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $481,908.00 will be available in the following account once the attached budget amendment is approved and processed.

recommendation

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $481,349.00 to McKim & Creed, Inc., for Purchase Order No. 25000849, bringing the total purchase order amount to $969,257.00. 

 

It is further recommended that the Board approve the attached associated budget amendment and authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders, as they become necessary and required up to the allowable budgeted amounts.
