Amendment for Extension of Public Transportation Grant Agreement With State Department of Transportation for Westside Infrastructure Improvements Project at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The previously approved Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant for the Westside Infrastructure Improvements Project is to expire on June 30, 2024. The Airport is requesting a grant time extension to June 30, 2025.
This project was bid out as part of a larger runway rehabilitation project, which is now essentially complete. A component of the rehabilitation was to re-locate the localizer equipment. Finalizing the FAA required AGIS survey and flight test are the remaining items to complete this component. Due to FAA flight test process changes, the tentative flight test is scheduled for February 2025.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the Airport.

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the FDOT Amendment for the Westside Infrastructure Improvements Grant 438513-1-94-01 Contract No. G1094 for the Westside Infrastructure Improvements. In addition, it is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on all related documents for forwarding to the Florida Department of Transportation.
