BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 30, 2024, the Board approved Contract No. 24-TFG00704/AP for Pre-Qualification of Vendors for Grant Funded Construction Services for Projects Under $500,000.00, pre-qualifying firms under four (4), categories, A-Category Public Works, B-Waterways, C-Utilities, D-Facilities, to provide quotes for County projects on an as-needed basis.
On November 12, 2025, the Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department issued a Request for Quotes (Contract No. 24-TFG00704/AP Quote 8) for Linda Pedersen Boardwalk Repairs.
The Request for Quote was sent to eleven (11) pre-qualified firms for Categories A-Public Works, B-Waterways, C-Utilities and D-Facilities:

4. Cross Environmental Services, Inc.

10. Waller Construction, Inc.

Bids are listed in lowest to highest order, with asterisk denotating recommended awardee.
Two (2) replies to the Request for Quote were received by the Quote Due Date of December 15, 2025, from the following firms:
1. TITAN, Consultants & Engineers, LLC $222,976.00*
2. S. Culp dba Property Services GC $396,651.75
Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department reviewed for price, conformance to specifications and the Bidder's ability to perform the contract in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications required and is recommending award of quote to TITAN, Consultants & Engineers, LLC. No responses were received to the Notice of Intent to Award posted on April 1, 2026.
