BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Planning Department is in need of resources to reduce the time it takes to review plans submitted for review. The Department is interested in using AutoReview.ai, which uses artificial intelligence to expedite plan review. The contract period would be for an initial one (1) year term at the estimated annual expenditure of $144,000.00 with an option to continue services for three (3) additional years.
AutoReview.ai is the sole source provider for Automated Zoning Code Compliance Review, and the sole source for all its land development code updates, service and training.
The Procurement Department posted “Notice of Intended Single/Sole Source Purchase” of AutoReview.ai on August 14, 2023, with the last date for market challenges on August 30, 2023. As of August 30, 2023, the Procurement Department received no challenges from any sources.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $144,000.00 is available in Account No. 0011-01751-5303401.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached agreement with Virtual Review Assist, Inc., d/b/a AutoReview.ai for a one-year contract with an option to renew for an additional three (3) years. The estimated annual spend is $144,000.00. It is further recommended the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to renew the contract for up to three (3) additional years with the same terms and conditions and authorize the CPO to approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to budgeted amounts.
