BRIEF OVERVIEW
Modification No. 3 to Subgrant Agreement H0359 between the Florida Division of Emergency Management and Hernando County to extend the period of performance to November 30, 2026, and increase the budget. This grant is a Hazard Mitigation grant for the elevation and retrofit of a property in Hernando Beach (3331 Gulf Winds Circle).
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The budget for Subgrant Agreement H0359 will increase the Federal Funding by $75,472.00 for the maximum amount payable under the Agreement to $326,642.00.
The maximum amount payable to Hernando County from this grant is a combination of the Federal Cost Share, which is $305,992.50 (75% of the total project cost), plus eligible activities included in Sub-Recipient Management Costs for a maximum amount of $20,649.50.
The Non-Federal Share for this Agreement is $101,997.50 (25% of the total project cost) which is the responsibility of the homeowner. Total project cost is $407,990.00 (Federal Share and Non-Federal Share minus the Sub-Recipient Management Costs).

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Modification No. 3 to Agreement No. H0359 for Hazard Mitigation Grant Project No. 4337-148-R
