BRIEF OVERVIEW

In order for Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) to provide water and sewer services to the Somerset Bay Phase One Subdivision Development, an easement for access to install a water main connection is required from Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, Inc., (WREC) on Key No. 758273, and an easement for access to install a sewer force main connection is required from the Hernando County School Board on Key No. 1598890.  WREC and the Hernando County School Board have both granted HCUD the easements required to provide access for the construction of the associated utility mains as well as any future maintenance, repairs, upgrades, etc. deemed necessary.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

No financial impact.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board accept the Perpetual Utility Easements from the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, Inc. and the Hernando County School Board.
