BRIEF OVERVIEW

Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) recently installed an 8-inch water main interconnect between the Wellington at Seven Hills subdivision and the Verano subdivision being constructed on County Line Road.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) executed on June 22, 2022, between HCUD and the Wellington at Seven Hills Homeowner’s Association, Inc. (HOA) for the water main project stipulates that upon project completion, the Wellington at Seven Hills HOA will grant HCUD a 15-foot-wide exclusive perpetual utility easement over the portion of the property where the 8-inch water main is located.

 

The Wellington at Seven Hills HOA has granted an exclusive perpetual utility easement to HCUD giving dedicated access for the maintenance, improvement, repairs and operation of the water main located within the easement.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

No financial impact.

It is recommended that the Board approve the Exclusive Perpetual Utility Easement from the Wellington at Seven Hills HOA.
