BRIEF OVERVIEW

Request:

Rezoning from CPDP (Combined Planning Development Project) to PDP(MF)/Planned Development Project (Multi-Family) with deviations.

 

General Location:

North side of County Line Road, approximately 280 feet from Farnsworth Boulevard.

 

P&Z Action:

On April 8, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4-0 to recommend the Board of County Commissioners adopt a resolution approving the Rezoning from CPDP (Combined Planning Development Project) to PDP(MF)/Planned Development Project (Multi-Family) with deviations.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

A matter of policy.  There is no financial impact.

 

LEGAL NOTE

The Applicable Criteria for a Zoning District Amendment are contained in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VI.  The Applicable Criteria for Planned Development Projects are contained in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VIII.  The Zoning District Amendment to the Planned Development District and applicable PDP master plan must be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board adopt a resolution approving the petitioner’s request for a rezoning from CPDP (Combined Planning Development Project) to PDP(MF)/Planned Development Project (Multifamily) with deviations and performance conditions.  It is further recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached associated resolution.
