State Financial Assistance Agreement With Department of Transportation for Eastside Roadway Improvements Including Rescue Way Extension, American Flyer Way, Railpark Drive, and Runway Drive Rehabilitation Projects at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and Associated Resolutions

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The roadways at the Rail Park on the east side of the airport property were designed and constructed in the 1980s and have reached the end of their useful life. This eastside roadway network was identified within the recent Industrial Development Review as a priority due to the condition of the pavement surfaces and drainage issues. New development in this area includes:
* Barrette Outdoor Living - Construction of a 156,000sf plastic extrusion manufacturing facility on 17 acres within the Rail Park. The capital investment for this project exceeds $25M and includes hiring an additional 200 employees. The proposed road and drainage improvements a will include reconstruction and enhancement to accommodate the significant increase in vehicle and heavy truck traffic.
* Private Hangar Development - A 12,000 sq. ft. corporate aircraft hangar currently under development.
* Future Aviation Development - 9 acres available for additional corporate, box, and t-hangars.
Components of this project shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
* Rescue Way - Will be rehabilitated and extended by approximately 950 feet, which will include extension of potable water and sanitary sewer utilities, construction of a new lift station, construction of new stormwater swales and culverts, base course, and asphalt paving.
* Railpark Drive - Will be reconstructed, including replacement of cross drain culverts, full depth pavement removal, base course, and asphalt paving.
* American Flyer Way and Runway Drive - Will be widened to twelve-foot lanes, including stormwater structure improvements, milling, base course, and paving.
