BRIEF OVERVIEW
On February 25, 2025, the Board approved award of Contract No. 24-TF00884 to Consolidated Forest LLC dba American Mulch & Soil LLC for Yard Waste Mulching Services for $459,900.00, with an estimated annual spend of $153,300.00.
The purchase order was originally issued for $153,300.00. Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $111,000.00, would increase the Purchase Order to $264,300.00.
Hernando County Solid Waste & Recycling Department has requested an increase of $111,000.00 for Purchase Order No. 26000631 to pay outstanding invoices for FY26 and is also requesting an increase of the annual spend for Contract 24-TF00884 for an estimated $420,000.00 per year due to a projected increase in the number of grinds needed for FY27.
