BRIEF OVERVIEW

Request:

Master Plan Revision for a property zoned PDP(SF)/Planned Development Project (Single Family) and PDP(MF)/Planned Development (Single Family)

 

General Location:

Southwest Corner of Mason Smith Road and U.S. Highway 41(Broad Street)

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

A matter of policy.  There is no financial impact.

 

LEGAL NOTE

The Planning and Zoning Commission has jurisdiction to make a recommendation on the subject application. The Applicable Criteria for Planned Development Projects are contained in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VIII.  The Planned Development Project master plan must be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.

The notice requirements of Appx. A, Art. VI, Sec. 7 of the Hernando County Code have been complied with.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend the Board of County Commissioners adopt a resolution approving the petitioner’s requests for a Master Plan Revision for a property zoned CPDP(SF)/Combined Planned Development Project (Single Family) and PDP(MF)/Planned Development Project (Multifamily), and with performance conditions.
