BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Hernando County Fine Arts Council has just been advised that the fees associated with using Tom Varn Park as their venue have increased substantially. The Tourism Development Council (TDC) is pleased to ensure the success of this enormously popular event by increasing their TDC Special Events Grant by an additional $3,000.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The recommended grant award of an additional $3,000 is available in TDC Budget Account No. 1261-02811-5304804.

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve the Tourism Development Council’s recommendation to increase the Hernando County Fine Arts Council’s grant from $5,000 to $8,000.
