BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has recently updated the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Operating Agreement document and is requesting that all sponsors in the Federal Contract Tower Program review and sign the new document. This document is to ensure federal compliance with the Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General recommendation standardizing the conditions under which the FAA provides air traffic control services. The proposed agreement will replace and supersede any prior operating agreement.
